This spring we were part of a project that aims to tackle the sustainability issue of single use coffee cups and the crazy amount which ends up in the incinerator and contributes massively to pollution.
We worked with Zero Waste Leeds, North Star Coffee Roasters, Hubbub, Leeds Indie Food, and Leeds Sustainable Food Partnership to explore a range of opportunities in relation to the sustainability of the independent cafe sector in Leeds.
This initiative plans to utilise a multifaceted approach to engage businesses and consumers to take more responsibility for the waste they produce. It will initially launch in the Leeds City Region (incorporating York and Harrogate) to gain traction amongst coffee lovers in these areas.Funding was gained through a Hubbub scheme to explore how
Our role was to give the project a visual identity that can be used for marketing materials and also in-house training guides. The initiative will be rolling out city wide in Winter 2019.
