The creative team behind the Leeds trifecta of destination bar and venues—Belgrave, Waterlane Boathouse and Headrow House—asked us to turn their new acquisition, the Beck & Call, from outdated Yorkshire pub into a contemporary, family friendly venue offering cask ales and locally sourced, home-cooked pub grub.

We were tasked with making and rolling out a lean visual identity suitable for large exterior signage, menus, interior artwork and social media content. The brief was to work within a traditional pub graphic language but compliment the contemporary flare of the client’s existing portfolio. Our challenge here was to appeal to a mixed audience of new families, young adults and traditional pub goers - challenge accepted.

Beck & Call

A social media friendly one-minute ‘first look’ video gave future customers an all access insight into the highly anticipated pub. Drone footage allowed us to capture the vastness of the venue and highlight the large beer garden and outdoor kids area – a huge selling point for the pub – as well as the cosy nooks, tap room and the orangery seating area.

Beck & Call

Video is a great way to capture the atmosphere of any venue. From large exteriors to tiny details, we can capture all the effort that goes into a build, and promote your business’s USP.
